Attire
Welcome to Sea Lion! As you might have guessed, this is "down at the lake." The sunshine reception will take place here and around the property. We would like everyone to have a great time, feel comfortable, and dress casual. Being an outdoor wedding in the Northwoods, some thought should be given to specific points.
Shoes/Sandals. Something comfortable and safe. High heels are not recommended. Sandals are great if you want to wade in the lake and have a pint.
Pants/Slacks/Skirt. Nice and Casual. If you are interested in jumping in and taking a swim out to the raft, bring a swimsuit and a towel.
Temperature. August 12th temperatures historically have ranged from 40F - 89F, but average between 52F and 78F for lows and highs. Typically you should expect the temperature to be about 15 to 20 degrees cooler up North but Murphys Law applies when you are speaking of Wisconsin Weather.
Umbrella. As with every wedding, we are planning for having a great time in the signature thunderstorms and saying our vows between cracks of lightning and the Gods rolling a few frames. We would ask that you bring an umbrella or rainjacket just in case.
