Planning a road trip to the wedding? Here are some sights along the way where you might like to get out and stretch your legs.

1. Kopp's Custard has a couple of locations around Milwaukee, WI. I was introduced to Kopp's by Richard Hawke at the Chicago Botanic Garden. Whenever we visited Boerner Botanic Garden we would always stop at Kopps before heading home. I can remember feeling quite ill after eating a whole Peanut Butter Log. It was just so good I couldn't stop eating.

2. Boerner Botanical Gardens are located in Milwaukee and would be a great place to stroll through on a summer afternoon.

3. Olbrich Botanical Gardens is another beautiful botanical garden. If you find yourself traveling through Madison it would be a nice place to stop.

4. Babcock Hall Dairy Store on the University of Wisconsin (Madison) is a great place to stop for ice cream on a hot summer day.

5. Stevens Point Brewery provides a nice tour of their brewery for you to stretch your legs. Point beer will be available for you to enjoy at the wedding if you don't get a chance to stop at the brewery.

6. Leinenkugel Brewery also offers very nice tours. It is located in Chippewa Falls which is northeast of Eau Claire. Leine's beer is often on tap at the Jensen and will definitely be available during the wedding.
